Dawn Farm 35th Anniversary Jamboree
September 7, 2008
1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Description:  The Dawn Farm Jamboree is an annual family event with free admission and free activities for all ages, including live music, hayrides, animals to pet, pony rides, a popular midway and other activities for children, and tours of the 74 acre farm. There will be live and silent auctions with a variety of donated goods and services.
Our Founder’s Day award will be presented to a local supporter in recognition of his/her support of Dawn Farm and the recovering community. Admission and activities are FREE. Food and beverages will be available at a nominal cost. Dawn Farm welcomes the community to join us and share in celebrating our successes in helping addicts and alcoholics become part of the recovering community. Dawn Farm is the only residential treatment program in the area, and funds raised from this event will help defray treatment costs for individuals who have no other resources.

HAVASUPAI HIKING TRIP
Itinerary:
9/18: Thursday night: arrive at Grand Canyon
9/19: Friday morning: Leave for Havasupai Reservation and hike to the bottom 10 miles!
9/20: Saturday morning: Enjoy hiking and the Havasupai Falls!!! Swimming!
Bring AA meeting on the Havasupai reservation time TBA
9/21: Sunday morning: HMMM THE CHALLENGE, hike back up!
9/21: Sunday evening: Arrive at the top, camp out, rest, recoup
9/22: Monday morning: Head back to home sweet home
Fees: $75 *Group Rate* per person
*This includes: A $5 per group Environmental Care Fee, $35 entrance fee to the Havasupai Indian Reservation, and $17 per night for camping (2 nights)
